About SICB ArtInBiology
The Society of Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB) is a scientific society that fosters research, education, public awareness and understanding of living organisms from molecules and cells to ecology and evolution. SICB encourages interdisciplinary cooperative research that integrates across scales, and new models and methodologies to enhance research and education. SICB has two journals. ICB, Integrative and Comparative Biology and IOB, Integrative Organismal Biology, our open access journal. Due to our belief that art and science go hand in hand, we have had feature blogs via our ICB Twitter blog (@ICB_journal) this year to highlight the artistry of not only our social media followers but authors and volunteers. We have collected permissions from those artists/scientists to showcase some of their work here so others can enjoy it. Proceeds from sales go towards SICB'S student scholarship fund. https://sicb.burkclients.com/
